Generative AI is transforming every profession, but success requires more than simply learning how to use AI tools. The Registered GenAI Practitioner™ (RGAP) course is an immersive, instructor-led program designed to help professionals understand, evaluate, and apply Generative AI effectively, responsibly, and strategically in their daily work. Building on AI fundamentals through practical application, the course explores the core concepts, techniques, and emerging technologies that are reshaping the future of work.

Participants will develop the knowledge and practical skills needed to understand and apply:

1. Artificial Intelligence (𝗔𝗜) concepts, AI Mindset, Large Language Models (𝗟𝗟𝗠𝘀), and the rapidly

   evolving AI ecosystem. 

2. Principles of prompt & context engineering and communicate effectively with AI systems. 

3. The difference between 𝗔𝗜 𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀, 𝗔𝗜 𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗜 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗳𝗹𝗼𝘄𝘀. 

4. Retrieval-Augmented Generation (𝗥𝗔𝗚) and the Model Context Protocol (𝗠𝗖𝗣) fundamentals. 

5. Build a simple AI assistant or AI agent through guided hands-on exercises. 

6. Integrate AI into business processes to improve productivity and automate routine tasks. 

7. Discover how 𝗔𝗜, 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗴𝗶𝗹𝗲 work together to accelerate innovation and deliver

    customer value. 

8. Recognize the ethical, legal, privacy, security, and governance considerations of responsible

    AI adoption. 

9. Apply AI confidently in both personal and professional environments.

By the end of the course, participants will be able to confidently leverage Generative AI to improve productivity, enhance decision-making, automate routine work, and create greater business value while understanding both the capabilities and limitations of today's AI technologies.

There are no prerequisites for this course. It is designed for professionals at all experience levels, from complete beginners to individuals with prior AI experience. Participants should have a curiosity about Generative AI and a desire to learn practical techniques that can immediately be applied in the workplace.

To participate in the hands-on exercises, students should have access to at least one of the following AI platforms prior to the course:

• Claude      
• Google Gemini 
• Microsoft Copilot 

Students who successfully complete the course will earn their Registered GenAI Practitioner™ credential, signed by the co-creator of Scrum, Dr. Jeff Sutherland.
